If you ask Shami Kaur Bola, Supply Chain Manager at evident ingredients, about the biggest benefits of a cloud ERP solution, those are exactly the words she uses. But for many, the topic of cloud still raises concerns. So how did evident ingredients handle it?

Take a look at the back of your shampoo bottle, and you might spot a product from evident ingredients: founded in 2020, evident ingredients GmbH develops and supplies cosmetic raw materials. What sets the company apart is its mission to create modern, natural, and sustainable products. With its own R&D department, the team supports customers with expertise on active ingredient concentrations and effects.

Just as professional as its products, the young company wanted its processes to be handled – not in Excel chaos, but automated and streamlined through an ERP system with an industry-specific extension from day one.

Choosing Yaveon as ERP partner was easy for Shami Kaur Bola. Because evident ingredients wanted to handle as much as possible independently, the project was based on a flexible service budget rather than a fixed timeline. “We managed to handle the majority ourselves. For questions, change requests, and adjustments, our Yaveon contacts were always there for us,” says Bola.

When it came to custom developments, the company always weighed effort versus benefit – and when in doubt, found good compromises. One standout aspect for Bola: “Yaveon’s consulting was and still is very detailed. Our matters are dealt with quickly, and that’s particularly important to us.”

The ERP solution has now been in use at evident ingredients for some time. Were the original requirements met? According to Bola, the answer is a clear yes:
