Automated & error-free: ERP integration according to Porsche standard

High product maturity with Yaveon 365 Automotive

UBC stands for carbon fiber composite components of the highest quality. Aerospace, motorsport, and not least Porsche rely on the products from Murr near Stuttgart.

In recent years, Porsche has repeatedly made headlines with its particularly efficient processes. Porsche also demands this level of efficiency from all its suppliers. Only in this way can high-wage Germany remain an attractive business location.
UBC therefore relies on Yaveon’s proven Automotive module to handle its business processes with customers.

“Our previous EDI solution was no longer supported and, unfortunately, was often error-prone and poorly integrated with our ERP system,” explains Andreas Pahl, CFO at UBC, describing the starting point. In contrast, the Yaveon solution is fully embedded in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and controls all processes for electronic data interchange and document creation internally in NAV.

“We were surprised that the Yaveon solution could unfold its full power even though our Dynamics NAV system has not yet been optimized,” says Pahl. “That demonstrates the high product maturity.”

Production-synchronous call-offs

Order processing with automotive customers now runs fully automated in the background, with workflows guiding employees to the relevant decision points. The Yaveon solution provides all the data and documents required in the automotive industry—including the transmission of production-synchronous call-offs. The organization is no longer burdened with administrative tasks but can focus entirely on fulfilling customer requirements.

Process and potential analysis

In addition, a process and potential analysis was carried out to further increase the quality of business processes.

“It was truly enjoyable to work with Yaveon’s competent consultants, and the result meets 100% of our expectations,” says Pahl, satisfied with the project, which went live after just six weeks.
