Implementing ERP at NZYM: A scalable future with Yaveon

The company is on a growth trajectory but faced limitations with its existing IT landscape. Different systems in each company, partially outsourced financial accounting, and a lack of transparency between entities made collaboration within the group challenging. The goal was clear: to implement a strategically scalable solution that aligns all entities on a common platform to enable growth. 

"As a corporate group, we wanted to operate on a unified system," explains Thea Hintermeier, PMO CEO Office, describing the initial situation. "We aimed to optimize our processes and create a foundation for growth to seamlessly add new brands in the future." 

Besides unifying processes, the main focus was on integrating financial accounting. The old solution couldn't adequately meet this requirement. Yaveon developed a future-ready ERP landscape that combines transparency, scalability, and integration, laying the groundwork for the next step in growth. 

The decision was made for Yaveon 365 in the public cloud. The solution meets numerous requirements of the process manufacturing industry directly "out of the box" – from traceability and production processes in line with industry-specific manufacturing regulations to supply chain topics. 

Interfaces to Shopify and an external warehouse service provider have been seamlessly integrated. Additionally, NZYM uses the system for multiple companies and has connected a document management system and warehouse scanners. 

"We benefit significantly from the integrated financial accounting," explains the project lead. "With the transparency we now have across all companies, we can make more informed decisions." 

Another milestone was the introduction of Microsoft CRM – a project developed in parallel with the ERP. "Before, we didn't have a CRM at all. Now, the field sales can capture all customer-related issues." 

The ERP project for the first company went live after about nine months – despite personnel changes at both the customer and Yaveon. This was possible due to a very standard-oriented approach. The implementation phase was characterized by close collaboration. "Yaveon guided us through all challenges, the combined expertise in the project was immense. We achieved this together." 

With Yaveon 365, the NZYM Group has laid the foundation to operate as One Company. All companies will work on the same ERP basis in the future, bringing not only efficiency but also flexibility.  

There are also clear improvements in controlling: "Through the BI integration, we see current sales with the push of a button – without laborious compilation. The evaluability has improved exponentially," says Ms. Hintermeier.
