Who are update projects suitable for?

For customers who want to modernize their system introduced with Yaveon — from "as close to standard as possible" to targeted optimizations.

How does a technical upgrade differ from an update project?

The technical upgrade quickly moves your existing Business Central solution to the current version. In the update project, we take over the customizations you selected and map them in the latest Business Central version.

What exactly does the Yaveon update service handle?

We plan the update cycle, coordinate environments and test capacities, perform (automated) tests, provide test notes and individual changelogs, and document the results.

Do our customizations remain in place?

Yes, in the update project every change is evaluated: what supports your goals is adopted; what the standard solves better today is simplified. The goal: high upgradeability and less maintenance.  

Why is moving to the cloud a good idea?

Less local infrastructure, regular automatic updates, easy environment management: in the cloud, your IT gains time and your business benefits from innovations faster. 

What happens if we stay on old versions?

Maintenance is only provided for the last three Business Central versions. With new releases, maintenance for the oldest version is discontinued – anyone who does not update risks missing necessary bug fixes and forgoes new functions. New legal requirements are only provided in the latest Business Central versions.
