San Diego, here we go! The YAVEON partner team had around 20 hours of travel time behind them when they arrived safely in San Diego on the evening of April 13th. There was no sign of tiredness the next morning. The anticipation of the upcoming Directions North America was far too great and so Michael, Jonas, Hannes, Daniel and Patrick set off to set up their booth and rehearse their keynote speech. "We had a lot to do in a short space of time, but when the doors opened for the 1,300 guests, it was clear that everything was ready," recalls Michael Ebinger, Head of Partner Management. The first day began with a major highlight: "As a Diamond Sponsor, we had the great honor of kicking off the opening keynote with our presentation." The numerous sessions on a wide range of topics started at 2 p.m. - and participants stormed the YAVEON booth. For the team, this meant: all hands on deck - that's how it should be!

Great conversations and lots of interest

The first day continued as intensively as it had begun. In the afternoon, the ISV session "Punch above Business Central weight class with ProBatch" was on the agenda. Michael Ebinger explained how Business Central can become a worthy competitor for Dynamics 365 F&O together with YAVEON ProBatch. "We were very busy at the booth. The Expo started at 7 p.m., so we had a second stand. We barely got to eat because of all the discussions," summarizes Jonas van Schwartzenberg, Partner Manager.

Doors and gates open for day 2: Monday started at 9 a.m. - and continued as Sunday had ended: lots of exciting discussions and exchanges awaited the team at the YAVEON stand. In the afternoon, Hannes Storz, Team Leader PreSales, presented the ProBatch quality control system in a functional demo. "The presentation was very well received by the participants and it attracted even more partners to our booth," says Hannes.

Proven solution and a good atmosphere

"We are absolutely thrilled, by the third day we had spoken to almost all of our major partners and arranged lots of follow-up appointments. It's great to see how well our solution has been received," summarizes Daniel Wessel, responsible for ProBatch product development.

And what is part of every successful event? An appropriate celebration, of course. On the evening of the third day, the traditional partner party took place, which created a great atmosphere. Some tired eyes started the last day on Wednesday with more exciting sessions until the event ended in the early afternoon.

Conclusion

Michael, what is your conclusion?

Michael: "We are overwhelmed, the event could not have gone better for us. Not only did we position the YAVEON brand and talk to all our partners, but we also created a new awareness in the North American partner community. Process manufacturing in Business Central is not just any opportunity, but one that is really worthwhile."
