We can hardly believe it, but Christmas is nearly there and the year is almost over. A lot has happened over the past few months and 2023 was something very special for us. We take a look back at the highlights of the past few months.

Happy Birthday: We celebrate 15 years of YAVEON
Our personal highlight of the entire year: we are celebrating our 15th birthday. YAVEON started in 2008. With a few downs and many ups, we have managed to become an integral part of the world of Microsoft Dynamics. Our company stands for solutions that offer added value, including our own ERP industry solution, implementation methods that suit the customer and maximum expertise in the life sciences and the regulated environment. And what goes with a birthday? A brilliant celebration, of course. In addition to the summer party and the Christmas party, there were numerous events where we were able to spend time together and celebrate 15 years. Wine festival, boat trip, barbecue event and beer brewing - there was something for everyone. Dear Team YAVEON, here's to the next 15 years!
Customer day at the Steinburg in WĂĽrzburg
After a four-year break, it was finally time again in June: our big customer day took place in bright sunshine at the Schlosshotel Steinburg high above the city of WĂĽrzburg. This event was also themed around our birthday and promised exciting insights into the world of YAVEON as well as news from the Microsoft universe: participants learned how we are tackling the skills shortage with our Talent Academy, got to know the interaction between ERP, DMS and the Power Platform and were able to ask all their questions and visit our exhibition. Thank you to everyone who attended and made the day so unique!
Microsoft partner event Directions EMEA as Gold Sponsor
It is a tradition that around 800 Microsoft partners come together once a year to take away new ideas, exchange ideas and celebrate partnership. We are talking about Directions EMEA, which this time attracted us to Lyon. Of course, the event is always a highlight, but this year tops all previous ones: For the first time, we were able to participate in the event as a Gold Sponsor. What an honor! With a great keynote speech, a fast-paced trailer and our own booth, we captivated numerous partners - and were thus able to achieve our goal of making our solutions available to more and more companies worldwide via a growing network and thus making their day-to-day work easier in the long term.
Going upwards: over 200 employees
Back to the shortage of skilled workers: yes, we are feeling it too. It is becoming increasingly difficult to acquire new talents. But that doesn't mean it's impossible. With attractive offers, a strong employer brand, a familiar corporate culture and tasks that offer future prospects, we continue to convince applicants to join us on our journey. We are particularly pleased that many new contacts have come as recommendations from colleagues who value working at YAVEON. This is how we managed to crack the 200-employee mark. Each and every member of the YAVEON team has contributed to this.
Promoting talent: the YAVEON Talent Academy takes off
Another initiative to inspire new talent is our Talent Academy. Whether fresh out of university, career changers or completely inexperienced: Anyone and everyone can apply and become part of the academy. The first Talents started their careers in the IT world in April and have been learning the tools of the trade to become consultants or developers ever since. The demand for Academy places is high, and the second round in October has already started successfully. We are very optimistic about the future when it comes to young talent!
Successful in the cloud
The cloud is increasingly replacing the traditional on-prem business. We are not only noticing this because all our systems are cloud-ready and over 25 apps are now available in Microsoft AppSource, but also because more and more of our customers are opting for a cloud solution. Worried about security risks, change and the like? There are always some. But these are decreasing. Clarifying discussions in which we explain the procedure and the possibilities provide security and convince our customers.
Further development of our solution portfolio
Of course, a look back at our products is a must in a review of the year, because a lot has happened: in addition to the classic introduction, we now also offer compact package solutions for ProBatch, ProE-SCM and our document management, which are particularly suitable for small companies and start-ups. In addition, with our Connector and Workflow app, further ProBatch and ProE-SCM apps complement our portfolio on AppSource, and with the possibilities of the Microsoft Power Platform, we are giving our customers the opportunity to design their own processes themselves.
New partner for even more growth
Future-proof further development of our products and strong growth: around two years ago, we decided to transform ourselves and set ourselves ambitious goals. We are very proud to have achieved them with flying colors. With the team from London-based Volpi Capital, we now have a new partner at our side who is supporting us in our further transformation both as an investor and in an advisory capacity.
Validated in the Cloud: Successful projects with great customers
Another highlight that we look back on with pride every year is you, our customers, with your projects, this year for example FARRL and CTL Europe. It's always fun to pass on our solutions to you and see how they make your working life easier. In 2023, we also validated a customer's move to the cloud for the first time. A lot of commitment, a little courage and maximum expertise made it possible. A success that points the way for the future. A big thank you for your trust in us and our projects!
Now the last few weeks of the year begin. Full of twinkling lights, pre-Christmas cheer, cookies and the proud feeling of having had a great year. 2024 is slowly knocking on the door - and we are looking forward to it!
